Hi, I'm Travie and I used to be a baby, but now I'm an award winning slightly older baby. I enjoy gas station nachos and cat calling (cats, not women). You know... the finer things in life. I started my adult life as network administrator and web developer, but there's more. I hold licenses through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement as a police officer, through the Federal Railroad Administration as a Class 8 Freight Train Conductor, a Class 6 Remote Control Operator, and a Class 1 Locomotive Engineer, and by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Certified Professional Air Traffic Control Specialist. I am a merchant mariner and have worked harbor tugs and ocean going ships. I've circumnavigated the globe and been to both the top of the world (Thule, Greenland) and the bottom (Antarctica). I have STCW endorsements: II/1, II/4, II/5, IV/2, V/1-1, V/1-2, VI/1, VI/2, VI/3, VI/4, VI/5, VI/6; USCG Licenses: 2nd Mate Unlimited Oceans, 100 Ton Master Inland, Radar Observer (Unlimited), & Radio Officer; Ratings: Able Seafarer - Deck, Able Seaman - Unlimited, Advanced Chemical Tanker Cargo Operation, Advanced Oil Tanker Cargo Operation, Basic Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operation, Basic Training, Lifeboatman, PSC, RFPNW, Steward's Department (FH), Tankerman - Assistant/LG, Tankerman - PIC/DL, VPDSD, & Wiper.. I am a ham radio operator (NN1K) and hold Commercial FCC Licenses for GROL, MROP, GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer with Ship Radar Endorsement, and Class T Radiotelegraph Operator License, and a scuba diver with certifications for Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Nitrox, and Police Diver... with millions of dives logged not only on Earth, but on other planets as well.
